Items you will need to complete this project:
The Lola's Wicked Ways taggers kit by Puddicat Creations. This is a PTU kit which may be purchased at Sophisti-Scraps.
Tube of choice. I am using House of Poser's LLWickedNightsPB6, which is included in the kit.
Wee Scots Lass Halloween mask #1 which you can download HERE.
Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Trebuchet MS which is a windows system font, and the Bloody Alpha alpha by Sarah Bryan, which is a FTU alpha that may be downloaded from her blog.
Note that H# and V# refer to Horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas grid. Make sure you have View, Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.
When I say "Add to your canvas" I expect that you will copy and paste it as a new layer, unless otherwise state in the tutorial.
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. It was written using PSP X1, but should work in PSP 8 and up.
To begin, open a new raster layer canvas, 800 x 800 pxl, flood fill white.
open pdc_paper14 (or paper of choice). Layers --> Load/Save Mask --> Load Mask from Disk. Locate Wee Scots Lass Halloween Mask 1. Make sure the fit to canvas box is checked, then click on load. Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.
Open pdc_fence4. Add to main canvas, centered. Image --> Free Rotate --> Rotate left, 15 degrees.
Open pdc_books. Resize to 75%, and add to main canvas, centered at H250, V250.
Open pdc_VampireCoffin1. Resize to 85% and add to main canvas, centered at H550, V400. Image --> Free Rotate --> Rotate right, 13 degrees.
Open pdc_cat1. Resize to 50% and add to main canvas, centered at H250, V580.
Open HOP_LLWickedNightsPB6, and add to main canvas, centered at H450, V370.
Add a drop shadow of choice to tube. I am using offsets vertical of -8, horizontal of 8, opacity of 85, blur of 25, color dark red #400000.
Open pdc_flowers4, resize to 25% and add to main canvas, centered at H150, V500.
Open pdc_flowers6, resize to 35% and add to main canvas, centered at H170, V600.
Open pdc_flowers7, resize to 50% and add to main canvas, centered at H300, V670.
Open pdc_spider1, resize to 35%, and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V100. Free rotate, rotate right, 13 degrees.
On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to transparent and your background color to white (#ffffff). Using font of choice, add copyright information for the tube to your tag.
For the House of Poser tube, that information is: (c)House of Poser http://houseofposer.blogspot.com/
I am using Trebuchet MS, which is a Windows, system font, 4 points, bold and centered. I then free rotated the text left, 68 degrees and centered it at H640, V460, so that it's located inside the coffin.
You can now save the artist's copy of your tube as a .pspimage file.
Using font or alpha of choice, add name of choice to tag. I am using the FTU Bloody Alpha by Sarah Bryan, and have located the name at H220, V120. Actual location may vary depending upon the size and length of the name you are using.
Drop the White background layer and merge visible. Resize your tag to 75% (600 x 600 pxls), and save as a .png file and your all done!
