Catch A Wave (PTU) tutorial

This tutorial was written by Dianna Richards of Digicats (and Dogs)/Di Before Dawn Tutorials. Any resemblance to any other tutorial, published or unpublished, living, dead or undead, is purely coincidental.

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Catch A Wave taggers kit by Nette's NightOwl Works. This is a PTU kit that is available at Country Corner Creations (and other fine online stores).

Tube of choice. I am using Sunny, by Misticheskaya. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Pics for Design.com.

Mask of choice. I am using the Shark Fins mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Catch A Wave alpha that is included in the kit.

Note that H# and V# refer to horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas ruler grid. Make sure you have View -> Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.

When I say "Add to your canvas" I expect that you will copy and paste it as a new layer, unless otherwise stated in the tutorial.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. It was written using PSP X3, but should work in PSP 8 and up.

To begin, open a new raster layer canvas, 800 x 800 pxl, flood fill white.

Open paper of choice. I am using nnw cawpaper19. Resize to 90%. Layers -> Load/Save mask -> Load mask from disk. I am using Shark Fins by Nik's Scripts and Scraps. Make sure the "Fit to canvas" box is checked, then click on load.

Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open nnw cawbubbles and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V200.

Open nnw cawsand and resize to 80%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V500.

Open nnwcawcurls and resize to 70%, Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open nnw cawfishy and resize to 25%. Add to main canvas, centered at H200, V150.

Open nnw cawstarfish and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H550, V400.

Open tube of choice, I am using Sunny by Misticheskaya. Resize as needed. For the sunny tube, I resized to 60%. Select your options, then Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open nnw cawbeachrope and resize to 65%, Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open nnw cawfroggiedangle. On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background colors to goldenrod (#ecc137). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag at the top of the dangle. For the Sunny tube, that information is:

I resized my dangle to 75%, and then used the font Century Gothic, 5 points, bold and centered. I sued my pick tool to rotate the text to match the tag. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point.

Merged visible, and resize your dangle again, by 75%. Click on the starfish layer on your Layers pallet to activate, then copy and add to main canvas, centered at H650, V300.

Starting with the sand layer (Raster 3) and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas except for the curls layer (Raster 4). I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color dark blue (#000040).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the alpha that comes in the kit. I have my name centered at H300, V525, and have added a drop shadow to match the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels). Save as a .png file and you are all done!

Emo County (PTU) Tutorial

Items you will need to complete this project:

The EMO County taggers kit by PSP Girl. This is part of the Emo County Collab at Country Corner Creations, which is free with a $7.50 purchase at the store through August 31st, 2011.

Word art of choice - or you may create your own. I am using the Emo County Word Art by Disyas Digitals Designs which is also a part of the Emo County Collab from Country Corner Creations.

Tube of choice. I am using EMOlution 9, by VeryMany. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Pics for Design.com.

Mask of choice. I am using the Grunge113 mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Sovereign Hearts alpha (Red) by Tagging with Base. This is a FTU alpha that can be downloaded at the link provided. Please leave Jeremy a thank you if you download!

Open word art of choice - or create your own text for this. I am using Disyas_EmoCWa4, which is part of the Emo County Collab. If you chose to use this word art, resize to 15%. Add to main canvas, centered at H300, V300. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate left, 17 degrees.

Open tube of choice. I am using EMOlution_9 by VeryMany. Resize to 65%, and hid the background and text layers. Copy the girl layer and add to main canvas, centered.

Open PSpgirl_EmoCounty_ele24, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open PSpgirl_EmoCounty_ele13 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H600, V600. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate right, 17 degrees.

Open PSpgirl_EmoCounty_ele19 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H500, V575.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background color to Bright Pink (#ef4ea7). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the EMOlution tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I then added a white drop shadow to text using the following settings: Offsets of 3 each, opacity 0f 100, blur of 5. Repeat using offsets of -3 each, leaving all other settings the same.

I have my credits centered at H400, V700.

Starting with the blue ribbon layer, Raster 2 and working upward on your layers pallet, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas (except for the credits layer). I am using offsets - horizontal and vertical - of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color off black (#202020).

You should now save the Artist's Copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Sovereign Hearts alpha (Red) by Tagging with Base. I have my name centered at H550, V100 and have added a drop shadow to match the one on the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done!

The Evil Within (PTU) Tutorial

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Emo is Evil taggers kit by Foxys Designz, This is a PTU kit that available at Digi Fox's Studio (and other fine online stores).

Tube of choice. I am using Crimson Mileena, by James Jacks. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at My Tubed Art.

Mask of choice. I am using the Grunge53 mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the White Grunge Alpha alpha by Dreamsfulfilled. This is a free to use alpha that may be downloaded at the link provided.

Open paper of choice. I had a hard time with this one, but finally settled for Paper12_FD. Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from Disk and select mask of choice. I am using Grunge53 by Nik's Scripts and Scraps. (And grungy/gothy type mask will work.) Make sure the "Fit to canvas" box is checked, then click on load.

Edit -> Copy Special - Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open Element27_FD and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered.

Open Element1_FD and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H200, V350. Using your selection tool, select the portion of the frame that is covered by the BASE of the tale (not the pointy end). Right click on Raster 2 on your Layers pallet and Promote Selection to Layer. Right click on the promoted selection and Arrange - Bring to Top.

Selections -> Select none.

Hide the background layer and the paper layer (Raster 1) then go to Layers -> Merge -> Merge visible. Unhide the blackground and paper layer.

Open tube of choice. I am using Crimson Mileena by James Jacks. Select the tube layer and add to main canvas, centered at H450, V350.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace (feather 2), select the bottom half of the Merged frame layer. Right click on it on the Layers pallet and Promote Selection to Layer. Arrange -> Bring to top.

Selections -> Select none.

Using your eraser tool,erase just the wee bit of the tube where so that it merges nicely with the cut portion of the frame. Return to top layer.

Open Element13_FD and resize to 80%. Add to main canvas,centered at H600, V400. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate right, 17 degrees.

Open Element36_FD and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V450.

Open Element1_FD (again) and resize to 75% (as above). Using your selection tool, select the bottom half of the tail. Add to main canvas to align with the tail that is currently part of the merged frame. (Right around H200, V460. There is a little knotched portion of the tail that you can use as a guide to align it properly.)

Open Element24_FD and resize to 25%. Add to main canvas, centered at H600, V575. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 17 degrees.

Open Element40_FD and add to main canvas, centered.

On the Materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background color to white (#ffffff). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the James Jacks tube that information is:

Starting with the Merged frame layer and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except the "Promoted Selection" layer and the tail overlay (Raster 6). I am using offsets - Vertical and Horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color of Dark Red (#400000).

You should now save the Artist's Copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice add name of choice to tag. I am using the White Grunge alpha by Dreamsfulfilled. I have my name centered just to the left of the Devilish Arrow at H250, V625. Add a drop shadow to the name to match the one used in the rest of the tag.

Open Element18_FD and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Save your work as a .pspimage file, then drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file, and you are all done.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background colors to chocolate (#49373c). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. for the Zebrush tube, that information is:

Starting with the Party Flag layer and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas. I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color of dark blue (#000040).

Open DCD_2T2P_ Sparkles and add to main canvas, centered at H300, V450.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to white (#ffffff) and your background color to dark blue (#000040). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Very Many tube, that information is:

Open glitter stars and add to main canvas, centered at H500, V400.

Open frame3 and rotate right. Add to main canvas, centered.

Open tube of choice. I am using Meow Meow Meow by Alfadesire. Select options of choice. Resize to 45%, copy merged, and add to main canvas, centered.

Open chain and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V400.

Open curlyribbon1, and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open chickenwire and resize to 65%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V600.

Open bottlecap1 and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V650.

Open note3 and add to main canvas, centered at H500, V150. Open additional notes of choice and add along the left side of frame to taste.

Open label1, and add to main canvas, centered at H450, V650. Image -> free rotate -> rotate left -> 17 degrees.

Open lights2 and add to main canvas, centered at H250, V300.

Open splatter4, and add to main canvas, centered at H550, V400.

Starting with Raster3 on the main canvas, and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the Lights layer. I am using offsets - horizontal and vertical - of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color of off black (#202020).

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to transparent, and your background color to silver (#cdcdcd). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Alfadesire tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 point, bold and centered. I added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this time. I have my credits centered at H450, V600, and then I free rotated them right, 17 degrees to match the angle of the label.

Effects -> Inner Bevel. I am using Bevel 2. See the box below for the rest of the settings.

Open sparkles and add to main canvas, centered.

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Goth Chick alpha by Sarah Bryan. I have my name centered at H550, V250. A drop shadow is optional depending upon the font or alpha you are using. I did not use one.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file, and you are all done.

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Emotionally Yours taggers kit by A Taggers Scrap. This is part of the Emotionally Yours Collab at Twilight Scraps, which is free with a $10.00 purchase at the store.

Tube of choice. I am using Panda Girl, by Alfadesire. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Pics for Design.com.

Mask of choice. I am using the Grunge80 mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

Open tube of choice. I am using "I'm a Panda" by Alfadesire. Select the option you'd like (I turned off the tattoo & piercings). Using your selection tool set to Rectangle, Replace, select the top part of the tube (to about 600 on the vertical rule), then Copy Merged. Add to main canvas, centered at H350, V350.

Using your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the bottom half the frame layer, raster 3. On the Layers pallet, right click on the frame layer and "Promote selection to layer".

Right click on the Promoted Selection and bring to top. Selections -> Select none.

Using your eraser tool, erase the bits of the tube that fall outside the frame layer and also along the right hand side on the girl's arm that overlap the inner edge of the frame near the cut.

Return to top layer.

Open Skull Chain 2 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open boots2 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V550.

Opwn skateboard and add to main canvas, centered at H550, V450. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate right, 25 degrees.

Open Bow 6 and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V500.

Open Deco 1 and add to main canvas, centered at H225, V600.

Starting with the wire layer, raster 2, and working upward, add drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the promoted selection. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color of dark purple (#400040).

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to transparent and your background color to Off Black (#202020). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the Alfadesire tube, that information is:

Right click on Raster 3 and go to Arrange -> Bring to top

Using your selection tool, select the lower half the frame layer, raster 4, the right click on the layer on the layer pallet and "promote selection to layer". Right click on the promoted selection and go to Arrange -> Bring to top.

Selections -> Select none.

Open DCD_ICS_Chocolate Drops and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V675, or just under the name. Add a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the tag (not the one used on the name).

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done!

Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged, then add to main canvas, centered.

Open Mesh_GI_IceCreamShoppe. Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from disk and select the same mask you used above. Load as above, then Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Resize the mesh layer only by 90%.

Open WordArt_GI_IceCreamShoppe, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V175.

Open Flags_GI_IceCreamShoppe. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V250.

Open tube of choice. I am using Diana by Vika Misticheskaya. Hide the license and background and resize to 40%. Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open Pattern_GI_IceCreamShoppe and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open Ribbons_GI_IceCreamShoppe and resize to 90%. Add to main canvas, centered at H150, V400. On the layers pallet, drag the ribbons, Raster 7, under the Word Art layer, Raster 3.

Return to top layer.

Open Flower2_GI_IceCreamShoppe and resize to 35%. Add to main canvas, centered at H150, V600.

Open Cherries_GI_IceCreamShoppe and resize to 35%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V650.

Open Tab and resize to 45%. On your materials pallet, set your foreground color transparent, and your background color to off black (#202020). Using font of choice, add the credits to the tag. For the Diana tube, that information is:

Copy Merged. On the layers pallet, click on Raster 3, the word art layer to activate. Add the tab into the main canvas, centered at H550, V320.

Starting with the Mesh layer, Raster 2 and working upward. add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15 and color of dark green (#004000).

Open bling_GI_IceCreamShoppe and add to main canvas, centered.

You should now save the artist copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add name of choice to tag. I am using the Chocolate alpha by Creative Intentionz. I have my name centered at H550, V650, and have added a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer, and merge visable. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file, and you are all done.

I am also using the Gothic Chic alpha by Whispy's D'zines. This was a FTU alpha but it is no longer available for download. Please choose something else you like instead.

Note that H# and V# refer to horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas ruler grid. Make sure you have View -> Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.

Using the following settings, add a white (#ffffff) drop shadow to the credit layer: Offsets of 3 each, Opacity of 100, blur of 5. Repeat using offsets of -3 each, leaving all other settings the same.

Starting with the Star Chain layer (Raster 2) and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name tag. I am using the Goth Chic alpha by Whispy's D'zines. I have my name centered at H300, V75 and have located it behind the tube layer. I then added a drop shadow to the name to match the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

On the layers pallet, click on Raster 4, the tube layer, to select. With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the front part of the girl where the lei is covered by the sea. (from about H270, V450 to H400, V600. Right lick on Raster 4 on the Layers pallet and "Promote selection to layer".

Right click on the promoted selection and go to Arrange -> Bring to top.

Selections -> Select none.

Open nnw stb shell and resize to 25%. Copy and add to the main canvas, at H650, V600. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate left, 15 degrees.

Open nnw sbtstarscatter and resize to 70%, Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V700.

Starting with Raster 2, the Palm layer and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the Promoted Selection. I am using offsets of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and the color dark teal (#004040).

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to transparent, and your background color to very dark teal (#092328). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Elias Chatzoudis tag, that information is:

Using your eraser tool erase the bits for the tube and the promoted selection so that the tube falls naturally into the frame.

Return to top layer.

Enchanted PTU Tutorial

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Funky Fresh ADD ON Created by Jill. This is part of the Funky Fresh Collab at Stargazer Scraps, which is free with a $10 purchase at the store.

Tube of choice. I am using Enchantress, by Zlata M. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Pics for Design.com.

Mask of choice. I am using the Grunge76 mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Red Passion alpha by Creative Crazy Scraps. This is a free to use alpha that may be downloaded at the link provided.

Note that H# and V# refer to horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas ruler grid. Make sure you have View -> Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.

When I say "Add to your canvas" I expect that you will copy and paste it as a new layer, unless otherwise stated in the tutorial.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. It was written using PSP X3, but should work in PSP 8 and up.

To begin, open a new raster layer canvas, 800 x 800 pxl, flood fill white.

Open paper of choice. I am using CreatedbyJill_FunkyFreshAddOn_paper04. Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from disk and select mask of choice. I am using Grunge76 by Nik's Scripts and Scraps. Make sure the fit to canvas box is checked, then click on load.

Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open CreatedbyJill_FunkyFreshAddOn_sequins. Copy and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V300.

Open CreatedbyJill-FunkFreshAddOn-glitterswirl and add to main canvas, centered at H550, V400.

Open CreatedbyJill-FunkFreshAddOn-frame2 and resize to 85%. Add to main canvas, centered.

Open tube of choice. I am using Enchantress by Zlatta M. Resize to 65%. Select the options you want, hiding the ones you don't want, to customize the tube to your liking. Then Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered at H375, V350.

On the layers canvas, right click on Raster 4, the frame layer, and duplicate. Right click on the copy of raster 4 and go to Arrange -> Bring to Top.

With you selection tool set to rectange-replace-feather 2, select the top half of the frame layer copy, then delete.

Open CreatedbyJill-FunkFreshAddOn-ribbon1 and rotate right. Resize to 75%, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open CreatedbyJill-FunkFreshAddOn-bow2 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H500, V550. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 45 degrees. Flip, then relocate the bow to H325, V500.

Open CreatedbyJill-FunkFreshAddOn-dragonfly and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H200, V550. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Right, 20 degrees.

On the materials canvas, set both your foreground and background colors to black (#000000). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the enchantress tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered and have located my copyright at H400, V700. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point.

Starting with the sequin layer, Raster 2, on your layers pallet and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas except for the frame copy and the copyright layers. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15 and color dark blue (#000040).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Red Passion alpha by Creative Crazy Scraps (thanks Stu!). I have centered my name at H500, V550, and add a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75%, and save as a .png file and you are all done.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the part of the tube from the V500 line down and delete. Make sure you get all of the bottom part of the tube, as some the graphic falls outside the canvas area.

Selections -> Select None.

Relocate the the remaining portion to H425, V375.

on the layers pallet, right click on Raster 3, the frame layer and duplicate. Right click on the Copy of Raster 3 and go to Arrange -> Bring to Top.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, (feather 2), select the top half the frame layer copy and delete.

Open Dangler2 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H190, V420.

Open Ribbon2 and resize to 75%. Rotate right. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open Flower2 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V550.

Open Flower3 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H350, V650.

Open ButterflyBow2 and resize to 75%. On the layers pallet, click on the frame layer, Raster 3, to activate. Add the Butterfly Bow to the main canvas, centered at H600, V250. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 17 degrees.

click on Raster 6, the dangler layer and go to Arrange -> Bring to Top.

Open Sandals3, and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at Ht600, V600. Using your eraser tool, erase the bit of the ribbon that falls below the bottom of the sandals.

Return to top layer

On the Materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background colors to dark red (#400000). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the Emo Babe tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered. I then fit text to path to circle around the outside of the frame. It is beyond the scope fo this tutorial to explain how to do that, but you may find a separate tutorial covering that subject HERE.

Open tube of choice, I am using Emo Princess by Alfadesire. Resize to 40%. On the layers pallet had both the Artist Name and background layers, then Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open HeartswithGlitter03, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open Glittersplat10 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H500, V550.

On the materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background colors to black (#000000). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Emo Princess tube, that information is:

Click on Raster 2 the frame layer. Using your magic wand, select the area inside the frame. Selections -> Modify -> Expand -> 7 Pixels.

Click on the Raster 3 layer, which is the blank layer. Edit -> Paste into selection.

Selections -> Select None. Return to the top layer, Raster 2.

Open tube of choice. I am using Cat Lady by Eugene Rzhevskii. Copy the Layer 1, the tube layer, and add to main canvas, centered

Right click on Raster 2, the frame layer and duplicate. Right click on the copy of Raster 2 and go to Arrange -> Bring to top.

Set your selection tool to Rectangle, Replace. Select the top half of copy of Raster 2, the frame layer copy, and delete.

Selections -> select none.

Using your eraser tool, erase the bits of the tube that fall outside the bottom half of the frame copy.

Open sc-funkyfreshcollab-element04 and resize to 75%. Click on Raster 1, the paper layer, to activate then add the watermelon to the main canvas, centered at H250, V550.

Open sc-funkyfreshcollab-element09 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V625.

Return to top layer.

Open sc-funkyfreshcollab-element 3 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, C625.

Starting with Raster 5 - the watermelon layer on the main pallet and working upward add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas except for Raster 3, the second paper layer, and Copy of Raster 2, the frame layer copy.

I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15 and color dark blue (#000040).

On the materials pallet, set both your background and foreground colors to dark blue (#000040). Using font of choice add the copyright information to the tag. For the Cat Lady tube, that information is:

Delete the white background layer, and merge visible. Resize to 75%, and save as a .png file, and you are all done!

I am also using the Gothique Romance Alpha Red by Whispy's D'zines. This alpha is no longer available, so please choose something else you like instead.

Change the opacity on the second duplication of the word art to 75%. Change the opacity on the 3rd duplication of the word are to 50%.

Open tt_BR_grungyframe2 and add to main canvas, centered.

Open tt_BR_blackrosecorner and add to main canvas, centered at H370, V300.

Open tube of choice. I am using Lady Torture by Unholy Vault Design. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V350.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the bottom part of the frame layer. Right click on Raster 3 on you layers pallet and -> Promote selection to layer. Right click on the promoted selection and go to Arrange -> Bring to Top.

Selections -> Select none.

Open tt_BR_ribbon and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open tt_BR-heart and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V600.

Open tt_BR_crudestapled and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V600. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 25 degrees.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to charcoal gray (#404040) and your background color to white (#000000). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the unholy Vault tube, that information is:

Starting with the glitzy layer, Raster 2, on the layers pallet and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas, except for the Promoted Selection. I am using offsets - Vertical and Horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur if 15 and color Black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add name of choice to tag. I am using the Gothique Romance Alpha Red by Whispy's D'zines. I located my name at H550, V550. I then added a drop shadow, using the same settings as for the rest of the tag, but changing the color to white (#ffffff).

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice add desired name to tag. I am using the Dreams Beach alpha (1 & 2) by Digiscrap.ch. I have my name centered at H300, V550. As the alpha comes with a built in drop shadow, I did not add another one. If you are using a different alpha or a font, you will want to add a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Open AM-My Summer Dream embellie16 and add to main canvas, centered at H350, V300.

Open tube of choice. Tan Lines by Keith Garvey. Copy Layer2 and add to main canvas, centered at H350, V400.

Open AM-My Summer Dream embellie05 and add to main canvas, centered at H350, V400.

Using your eraser, erase the bits of the tube that fall outside the frame layer. Return to top (frame) layer.

Copy tube Layer1 and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V525.

Open AM-My Summer Dream embellie26 and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V550.

Open AM-My Summer Dream embellie51 and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V600.

Open AM-My Summer Dream embellie10 add add to main canvas, centered at H150, V425.

On the materials pallet, set both your foreground color your background color to dark blue (#000040). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the Tan Lines tube that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I have my copyright centered at H400, V725.

Using the following settings, add a white drop shadow to the text: Offsets 3 each, opacity of 100%, blur of 5 and color (#ffffff). Repeat using offsets of -3 each, leaving all other settings the same.

Starting with raster 2, the embellie16 layer, and working upward add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the copyright information. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15 and color of black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice add desired name to tag. I am using the Dreams Beach alpha (1 & 2) by Digiscrap.ch. I have my name centered at H500, V100. As the alpha comes with a built in drop shadow, I did not add another one. If you are using a different alpha or a font, you will want to add a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Tube of choice. I am using Blue Lagoon, by Jay Trembly. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Up Your Art.

The Oceans 6 mask by Cameron. This is a free to use mask that may be download from Cameron Tags. (Resources -> Masks -> Ocean collection).

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Dreams Beach alpha by Digiscrap.ch. This is a free to use alpha that may be downloaded at the link provided.

Right click on the shell3 layer on the Layers pallet and duplicate. Mirror. Relocate the mirrored image to H500, V500.

Open tube of choice. I am using Blue Lagoon by Jay Trembly. Copy the Tube JT0040 Blue Lagoon layer and add to main canvas, centered at H450, V350.

Open CHILI_DESIGNZ_Magical_Sea_water and resize to 65%. Mirror, and to main canvas, centered at H400, V675. Using your eraser tool, erase the bits of the tube that fall below the water line. Return to top layer.

Open CHILI_DESIGNZ_Magical_Sea_shell2 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H325, v625

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace (feather 0), select the lower right portion of the frame from about H325, V500 over. On the layers pallet, right click on the frame layer and go to -> Promote selection to layer. Right click on the Promoted Selection and Arrange -> Bring to top.

Selections -> Select none.

Open GDT~SIB Flower4 and resize to 50%. Click on the sun layer, Raster 3, to activate, then add the flower to your main canvas, centered at H315, V420.

Open GDT~SIB Flower 3 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H525, V400.

Open GDT~SIB Grey Bunny wBow and resize to 35%. Add to main canvas, centered at H275, V475.

Return to top layer, the Promoted Selection layer.

On the materials pallet, set both your foreground and background colors to sky blue (#2db6ca). Using font of choice add copyright information to the tag. For the Bunny tube, that information is:

using your magic wand (feather set to 0), click anywhere outside the star circle to select. Selections, invert. Selections -> Modify -> Contract 3 pixels Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged, then add to your main canvas, centered at H650, V600.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to transparent, and your background color to white (#ffffff). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the canvas, centering over the Star Circle "tag" you just created. For the Snow Owl tube, that information is:

Open Earth and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650. Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from Disk and select the same mask you selected used for the paper layer. Make sure the fit to canvas box is checked, then click on load.

On the layers pallet, click on the mask layer to activate, then go to Layers -> Merge -> Merge Down. Click on Group - Raster 3 to activate.

Open tube of choice. I am using Zebra Lady by Olivia. Copy the Girl Zebra Bird layer and add to main canvas. centered at H400, V375.

Open StoneWalkway and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V700.

Click on Raster 1, the paper layer, to activate. Open metal frame and add to main canvas, centered.

Open EarthDay_Branch_03 and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V400.

Return to top layer.

Open RafiaString and rotate left. Resize to 75%, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V625.

With your selection tool let to rectangle, replace (feather 0), select the Zebra's nose and grass where it is covered by the string. Right click on Raster 4 on the layers pallet and Promote selection to layer.

Right click on the promoted selection and to go Arrange -> Bring to top. Selections -> Select none.

Open the RecycleSymbol and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H600, V600.

Open Bow_01 and resize to 25%. Add to main canvas centered at H600, V600.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to dark green (#004000) and your background color to white (#ffffff). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the canvas. For the Olivia tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I have my credits centered at H400, V700.

Starting with the frame layer on the your materials pallet and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your main canvas, except for the promoted selection. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tags as a .pspimage file.

On your layers pallet, click on the Earth layer, Raster 3 (Group) to select. Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Corrugated Alpha by Elyne Araujo. I have my name centered at H500, V100, and added a drop shadow to match the rest of the elements on the canvas.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

The Save the World taggers kit by A Taggers Scrap, This is a PTU kit that is part of the new Earth Day collab at Stargazer Scraps. It is free with a $10 purchase, or you can purchase the collab outright for $12.50.

Tube of choice. I am using Aqua Marine, by Amy Brown. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Creative Design Outlet.

The Oceans 1 mask by Cameron. This is a free to use mask that may be download from Cameron Tags. (Resources -> Masks -> Ocean collection).

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Dreams Beach alpha by Digiscrap.ch. This is a free to use alpha that may be downloaded at the link provided.

Note that H# and V# refer to horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas ruler grid. Make sure you have View -> Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.

When I say "Add to your canvas" I expect that you will copy and paste it as a new layer, unless otherwise stated in the tutorial.

Selections -> Select none.

Open fairydust1 and add to main canvas, centered.

Return to the top layer, Raster 2 (the frame layer).

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace (feather 0), select the top half of the frame layer copy and press delete.

Using your eraser tool, erase the part of the tube dress that hangs beyond the side of the frame to the right. Return to top layer.

Open Element4_FD and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H550, V475.

Open Element39_FD and add to main canvas, centered at H250, V550.

Open Element28_FD, and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H550, V500.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to dark blue (#000040) and your background color to White (#ffffff). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Mask tube that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and align left. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I have my credits centered at H235, V220, in the upper left hand corner of the "envelope" we are creating.

Using the following settings, add a drop shadow to your credits: offsets of 3 each, opacity of 100%, blur of 5, color pale green (#c0ffc0).

Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 20 degrees - ALL LAYERS. Make sure you check the "All Layers" box before clicking on OK.

On the layers pallet, click on the background layer to activate it. Rotate it back to the right, 20 degrees (this layer ONLY). Resize your canvas back to 800 x 800 pixels, it will have automatically resized when you did the free rotate.

Open pdc_cloud1 and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V150. (Don't worry that you can't see it at this time, you'll be able to see it when we are finished.)

Return to top layer.

Open pdc-grass2 and rotate right. Add to main canvas, centered at H500, V657. Image -> Free Rotate, Rotate left, 20 degrees.

Open pdc_nature1 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H310, V540.

Open pdc_flower2 and resize to 35%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V650.

Open pdc_butterfly1 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H650, V500.

On the layers pallet, click on Raster 3, the doodle2 layer to activate. Open pdc_sparkles and add to main canvas, centered.

Click on Raster 8, the cloud layer and add a drop shadow of choice to it. I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color of dark blue.

Using the same settings but switching the color to dark green (#004000), and staring with Raster 1, the envelope layer and working upward on the layer pallet, add a drop shadow to each of the elements on your main canvas except for the sparkles layer (Raster 11) and the copyright layer.

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice add desired name to tag. I am using the Parfum Printemps alpha (1 & 3) by Digiscrap.ch. I have my name centered at H425, V400. I then free rotated it left, 20 degrees to match the angle of the envelope, and have added a drop shadow to it to match the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Selection -> Select None. Open DCD_TeDi_Spring Doodle and add to main canvas, centered at H500, V550.

Open DCD_TeDi_Recycle Logo 2 and resize to 50%. Add to main canvas, centered at H550, V550.

Open Tag06. On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background colors to dark blue (#000040). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Who Knew 2 tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points bold and centered. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I centered my information more or less in the center of Tag06.

Merge visible and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas centered at H400, V125.

Starting with Raster 4, the frame layer and working upward on the layers pallet, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas except for the frame layer copy, Copy of Raster 4. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal, of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15, and color black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Charmed alpha by C. Papier. I have my name centered at H300, V700, and added a drop shadow to match the rest of the elements on the canvas.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible, resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Mask of choice. I am using the Grunge60 mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

On the materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background colors of leaf green (#58862f). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Fawn tube, that information is:

Open Daisies and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H600, V250.

Open Floral1, resize to 75%, and mirror. Click on Raster 4, the tube layer, to activate, then add to main canvas, centered at H600, V600. Using your eraser tool erase the bits that fall below the frame on the bottom of the canvas.

Open Tag and resize to 75%. Rotate left. On the materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background colors to dark green (#004000). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. for the Earth tube, that information is:

Open DCD_StVa_Ribbon03 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open DCD_StVa_Steam Sticker and add to main canvas, centered at H650, V350.

Mirror the Steampunk Dog tube and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V500.

Open DCD-StVa_Deco1 and add to main canvas, centered at H450, V500.

With your selection tool sent to rectangle, replace, feather 0, select the front part of the flying ship tube. Right click on Raster 5 on the layers pallet and -> Promote Selection to layer.

Right click on the promoted selection, and go to Arrange -> Bring to top.

Return to top layer.

Layers -> Merge Visible, the rotate the tag right again. Copy and add to your main canvs, centered at H150, V350.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select a bit of the netting on the left and side where it is covered by the string. Right click on the netting on your layers pallet, and "Promote Selection to Layer". Right click on the Promoted Selection 1 and go to Arrange - Bring to top.

Selections -> Select None.

It should end up looking, more or less like the string is looped over the netting.

Starting with Raster 2 on the layers pallet and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the promoted selections.

I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color dark teal (#004040).

Open GlitterTrail-GI_Tranquility and mirror. Add to main canvas, centered.

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

On the Materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background colors to dark teal (#004040). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tube. For the Buttercup tube, that information is:

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Satin Gold Alpha by Marie stones. I have centered my name at H500, V600, then free rotated it left, 17 degrees. Finally, I added a drop shadow to match the rest of the elements on the main canvas.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Irish Goth taggers kit by Darq Illusions which is a PTU kit available at Butterfly Blush Designs.

The Rock of Chasel Castle Ruins photo, which is a public domain image, what can be downloaded HERE. Note that because you are using a tube on the tag you CAN NOT use a copyrighted photo as well. If you choose to use a different photo it must be something you have taken personally, or an image that has been placed in the Public Domain. DO NOT simply grab and image off the internet and use it as such an image is likely copyrighted. It must be specifically in Public Domain.

Tube of choice. I am using Irish Lovey, by Rene Kunert. You must have a license to use this tube, which is available at PSP Tubes Emporium.

Mask of choice. I am using the Bacteria mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a windows system font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

To begin, open a new raster layer canvas, 800 x 800 pxl, flood fill white.

Open paper of choice. I am using DI_irishgoth_paper18. Go to Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from Disk and select mask of choice. I am using Bacteria by Nik's Scripts and Scraps. Make sure the fit to canvas box is checked, then click on load.

Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open DI_irishgoth_element53. Add to main canvas, centered.

Open DI_irishgoth_frame4 and add to main canvas, centered.

Open Rock of Cashel photo and resize to 50%. Click on Raster 2, the beads element, then copy can add the castle to your main canvas, centered.

Using your pick tool manually adjust the placement of the castle in the frame.

Once you are happy with the placement of your photo, activate your magic wand, and click anywhere outside of the frame layer on Raster 3 to select. With the area still selected, click on Raster 4 on the layers pallet and hit the delete key.

Use your eraser tool to clean up the edges, then return to top layer.

Open Irish Lovey by Rene Kunert and activate Layer 4. Image -> Mirror, then copy and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V400.

Open DI_irishgoth_element43 and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V225.

Open DI-Irishgoth_element33 and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open DI_Irishgoth_element61 and mirror. Click on Raster 7 - the ribbon layer - to activate, then add to main canvas centered at H550, V350.

Return to top.

Open DI_Irishgoth_element36 and resize to 75%, Add to main canvas, centered at H550, V600.

On the materials pallet, set both your foreground color and your background color to Goldenrod (#ecb556). Using font of choice, add the copyright information to the tag. For the Irish Lovey tube that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered, and have fit my text to path to match the outside of the frame. It is beyond the scope of this tutorial to explain how to do this, a separate tutorial on the subject is available HERE.

I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this time. For the Cashal Castle photo, the credit is "Photo by Jon Sullivan".

Starting with the beads layer - Raster 2 - and working upward on the layers pallet, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on the main canvas except for the photo layer, Raster 4. I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal of 5 each - opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Selections -> Select None.

Open DCD_Sharmrock Swirl02 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open DCD_WA_Kiss Me and resize to 75%. On the layers pallet click on the frame layer, Raster 3, to activate the add the word art centered at H400, V100.

Return to top layer. Open DCD_Shamrock Necklace02 and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H650, V410. (It should end up looking like it is looped over the bottom of the Letter E in the word art.

Open DCD_Guitar04 and resize to 65%. Add to main canvas, centered at H200, V550. Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate Left, 20 degrees.

Open DCD_Guitar Pick03 and resize to 75%, Add to main canvas, centered at H150, V600.

On the Materials pallet, set both your foreground and your background color to white (#ffffff). Using font of choice add copyright information to the tag. For the Leprechaun tube, that information is:

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the top half of the frame copy and delete.

Selections -> Select None.

Using your eraser tool, erase the bits of the tube that fall outside the bottom half of the frame.

Return to top layer.

Open LD_STD_Element34. Resize to 75%, and add to main canvas, centered at H400, V550.

Open LD_STD_Element35. Resize to 50%, and add to main canvas, centered at H500, V600.

Open LD_STD_Element24. Resize to 75%. On the layers pallet, click on the paper layer, Raster 1 to active, then add the Drama Queen sign, centered at H200, V200.

Image -> Free Rotate -> Rotate left, 17 degrees.

Return to top layer.

Open LD_STD_Element28, resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H280, V610.

Using the following settings, add a white drop shadow to the text: offsets of 3 each, opacity of 100, blur of 5 and color #ffffff. Repeat using offsets of -3 each, leaving all other settings the same.

Starting with the Drama Queen sign (Raster 7) and working upward, add a drop shadow to each of the elements on the main canvas, except for the frame layer copy, Copy of Raster 2, and the credits. I am using offsets - vertical and horizontal - of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color black (#000000).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice add desired name to tag. I am using the I am a Star (3) alpha by Digiscrap.ch. I have added noise (Adjust -> Add/Remove Noise -> Add Noise -> Guassian, 85%) and centered my name at H250, V550. I then added a drop shadow using the same settings as were used on the rest of the tab, but changing the color to #ff80ff.

Drop the white background layer and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Open Cherry Bomb Flower with Stitching and add to main canvas, centered at H500, V450. Using your eraser tool, erase the bits of the stitching that fall over the tube layer.

Open Cherry Bomb Heart With Wings, and resize to 35%. Add to main canvas, centered at H600, V275. Image -> Free rotate -> Free Rotate left, 20 degrees.

I am also using the Goth Chicks alpha by Sarah Bryan. This is a FTU alpha that is available for download at Pimp my Tag with Scraps.

Note that H# and V# refer to horizontal and vertical coordinates on your canvas ruler grid. Make sure you have View -> Rulers checked in order to see the ruler grid.

When I say "Add to your canvas" I expect that you will copy and paste it as a new layer, unless otherwise stated in the tutorial.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. It was written using PSP X3, but should work in PSP 8 and up.

To begin, open a new raster layer canvas, 800 x 800 pxl, flood fill white.

Open paper of choice. I am using clarey_emogirls_paper4. Go to Layers -> Load/Save Mask -> Load Mask from Disk and select mask of choice. I am using Erosion 3 by Nik's Scripts and Scraps. Make sure the fit to canvas box is checked, then click on load.

Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged and add to main canvas, centered.

Open clarey_emogirls_largesplat-glitter and add to main canvas, centered at H350, V350.

Open Clarey_emogirls_swirlyframe1 and add to main canvas, centered.

Open tube of choice. I am using Smily by Amberly Berendson. Copy Layer 1, and add to main canvas, centered.

Open Clarey_emogirls_string3 and rotate left. Add to main canvas centered at H400, V600.

Open Clarey_Emogirls_Flower2. On the materials pallet, set your foreground color to light gray (#c0c0c0). Then, using your color changer tool, change the color of the flower center to light gray.

Copy and add to main canvas, centered at H650, V500. Right click on the flower and duplicate. Resize duplication to 75%. Move the copy to H650, V400.

Right click on the flower copy and duplicate. Resize to duplication to 75% and relocate it toH630, V300.

Repeat the duplication/resize, one last time and relocate to H580, V230.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the tube's hair where it is covered by the flower petals. Right click on the tube layer, Raster 4, and promote selection to layer.

Right click on the promoted selection and go to Arrange -> bring to top.

Open Clarey_emogirls_bottlecap3 and add to main canvas, centered at H550, V600.

Open Clarey_emogirls_butterflysketch4 and resize to 25%. Add to main canvas, centered at H300, V200.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background colors to white. Using font of choice, add copyright information to tag. For the Smiley tube, that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered and have added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point. I have located my credits at H400, V100.

Using the following settings, add a gray drop shadow to your credit text: offsets 3 each, opacity of 100, blur of 15, and color of #404040. Repeat using offsets of 3 each and leaving all other settings the same.

Starting with Raster 2, the glitter splat and working upward on your layers pallet, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the elements on your canvas except for the promoted selection and the credits.

I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75%, blur of 15 and color of black #000000.

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the Goth Chick alpha by Sarah Bryan, but I have recolored it using the manual color correction tool to match the pink in the butterfly. I located my name at H300, V550, and added a drop shadow to match the rest of the tag.

Drop the white background layer, and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.

Items you will need to complete this project:

The Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet taggers kit Created by Jill which is a PTU kit that is available at Stargazer Scraps.

Tube of choice. I am using Sharlot, by Elias Chatzoudis. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at PSP Tubes Emporium.

Mask of choice. I am using Wee Scots Mask #261 which you can download HERE.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a windows system font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the Pink Paisley Swirl alpha by Lady Noelle. This is a PTU alpha, please refer to Lady Noelle's blog for places where it can be purchased.

With your selection tool set to rectangle, replace, select the bottom half the frame, Raster 2. Right Click on Raster 2 on the Layers pallet and Promote Selection to Layer. Right click on the promoted selection and go to Arrange -> Bring to Top.

Using your eraser tool, erase the bit of the tube that shows outside the frame on the side.

Return to top layer.

Open S-glitterhearts_cbj and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open S-Hearts_cbj and add to main canvas, centered at H200, V400.

Open S_heartswirl_cbj and add to main canvas, centered. Image -> Free rotate -> Rotate Right, 75 degrees. Relocate to H600, V400.

Open S-buttefly_cbj and resize to 75%. Add to main canvas, centered at H250, V650.

On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background color to pink (#eb5197). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Sharlot tube that information is:

I am using Century Gothic, 4 points, bold and centered. I free rotated my text left, 20 degrees to match the angle of the frame and then located my text at H300, V100. I also added the optional background credits and tagged by information at this point.

The April Showers Brings May Flowers taggers kit by Gothic Inspirations, This is a PTU kit which is available at Gothic Inspirations.com.

Tube of choice. I am using Rainbow-corn, by Karen Middleton. This is a PTU tube, and you must have a license to use this tube, which is available at Creative Design Outlet.

Mask of choice. I am using the Primer mask by Nik's Scripts & Scraps which is part of her PSP Masks Mega Pack.

Font(s) and/or alpha of choice. I am using Century Gothic which is a Windows System font. If you do not have it, you can download it HERE.

I am also using the April Showers by Aleahs Mommy Designs. This was a freebie alpha but the download link appears not to be working anymore, so please use a font, or different alpha that you like.

Open Bling-GI_AprilShowers and add to main canvas, centered at H150, V400. Adjust -> Add/Remove Noise -> Add Noise -> Gaussian -> 85%.

Open String-GI_AprilShowers and rotate left. Copy and paste to main canvas, centered at H400, V600.

Open Dandelions-GI_AprilShowers and add to main canvas, centered at H600, V400.

Open Tag2-GI_AprilShowers and rotate left. On the materials pallet, set your foreground and background colors to dark teal (#004040). Using font of choice, add copyright information to the tag. For the Karen Middleton tube, that information is:

Layers -> Merge -> Merge visible, then rotate right. On the layers pallet, click on the frame layer to activate, then add the tag to the main canvas, centered at H625, V400.

Starting with the cloud layer, Raster 2, on your layers pallet and working upward, add a drop shadow of choice to each of the element on the main canvas, except for the GlitterBling (Raster 3) layer. I am using offsets, vertical and horizontal of 5 each, opacity of 75, blur of 15 and color of dark teal (#004040).

You should now save the artist's copy of your tag as a .pspimage file.

Using font or alpha of choice, add desired name to tag. I am using the April Showers alpha by Aleahs Mommy Designs. I have my name centered at H275, V150, and have added a drop shadow to match the one used on the rest of the elements.

Drop the white background layer, and merge visible. Resize to 75% (600 x 600 pixels) and save as a .png file and you are all done.
